Houston Officer May Have Died Cleaning Gun
November 21, 2007
Authorities believe that a Houston police officer found dead in his home earlier this week may have been the victim of an accidental discharge. The officer was discovered by his family.
Police say they believe the officer was killed when his gun discharged while he was cleaning it.
There was no obvious indication of a break-in or foul play at the home.
Houston homicide detectives continue to investigate the case.
