Police Carry Out 'Controlled Explosion' After Bomb Scare at London Airport

A bomb squad carried out a "controlled explosion" and declared a suspicious car near the arrival lounge of London's Luton airport safe, after its departure terminal was evacuated earlier, a police spokesman said.
Police had said that an anonymous male called at 7:40 pm (1940 GMT), and a car was found near the airport's arrival lounge that could not be accounted for. As a result, the departure lounge was evacuated and a 200-metre cordon was set up.
