Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn., is launching a new Public Safety and Security degree program focused on emergency management. This BA degree will examine strategies for managing timely public safety issues that range from terrorism and biohazards, to severe weather response and infectious diseases.
The program was developed specifically for practitioners currently in the fields of law enforcement, fire service, private security, and homeland security.
In appreciation for public services performed, all accepted students in the February 2007 cohort will be awarded a $1,000 tuition grant.
