The finalists in the 2005 5.11 Challenge have been selected. After competitions held in July and August among 32 two-person teams, the top three two-team finalists will compete for $100,000 in sponsors' gear and product for the winning team’s agency September 9-11 in Big Horn County, Montana.
Officers from the Tucson (Ariz.) Police Department, the U.S. Probation Department in Las Vegas, Nev., and the Walla Walla (Wash.)Police Department will compete in the finals of the 5.11 Challenge championship.
The competition tests skills with single-action weapons, shotguns, and range shooting with rifle and handgun.
