Ray Allen’s heavy-duty magnetic stash boxes that attach to many metallic surfaces allow officers to train K-9s to sniff for odors by placing a hide in a variety of locations. Made of heavy-duty aluminum, the boxes feature self-locking lids to secure an odor sample and 25 pound-test magnets for positive attachment to many metallic surfaces. The small stash box measures approximately 5.75x2.25x1.5 inches. The large stash box measures approximately 11.5x2.25x1.5 inches.

A highly sensitive, low-noise microphone is optional for audio surveillance.

The system simultaneously presents or hides two silhouette targets to the firing line through the use of a wireless remote control with a range of up to 1,000 feet and an innovative dual target drive train with an intuitive user interface. The TAC II can be used inside or outside. It will stand up to 30 mph winds, but will collapse into a package 60x8.5x6.5 inches deep and weighs only 26 pounds.

An interactive index to the program makes finding a word or phrase easy. Traffic and DUI units now include five more lessons and a unit on 911/Dispatch has been added. The Spanish On Patrol self-paced online course focuses on survival and essential Spanish vocabulary with an audio/visual learning environment. No prior knowledge of Spanish is required.

Roadguard, a division of Traffic Safety Devices Incorporated (TSDI), has released the ROADGUARD/2 water-ballasted, energy-absorbing plastic barrier. The company says the ROADGUARD/2 is the first portable Jersey-style barrier to be manufactured by the blow-molding process, using High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. The double-chambered ROADGUARD/2 is six feet long, 3.5 feet high, two feet wide at the bottom, and 10 inches wide at the top.
