M Pp WebsterWebster Innovations has moved production of its product, the Tactical Mic Keeper (TMK), from overseas to Scottsdale, Ariz. Veteran law enforcement officer Brian Webster invented the TMK in 2007 as a reliable and professional solution for the microphone retention problems that officers face when in pursuit of a suspect. With production moved to the U.S., the TMK is now made from a stronger, more flexible polymer, and the company will be able to directly oversee the manufacturing process. The TMK can be worn on the front of the uniform or under the shoulder strap (epaulette). It attaches by way of the uniform button, not the uniform itself. The TMK is compatible with almost all remote microphones, including Motorola, Kenwood, Harris, Vid Mic, and Freelinc.
