The X-Net Vehicle Arresting System can be quickly deployed to stop a vehicle and make it impossible for the car to drive away. Barbed spikes in the leading edge of the net pierce the front tires, then the net envelops the tires and is pulled tight under the vehicle to stop the wheels and halt the vehicle in a non-lethal manner. Ideal for pursuit management, mobile checkpoints, and cordoning off areas or roadways, the X-Net system is extensively trialed and now available for both military and police use.
