Maptech’s new Outdoor Navigator for Windows Mobile Smartphone is advantageous to officers on the move. The service provides more than 58,000 off-road maps and 2,300 boating maps to users’ Smartphones, PDAs, and Pocket PCs for $19.95. Each detailed map shows buildings, paved roads, towers, power lines, and more. The Windows Mobile Smartphone has a 20-hour battery life and can be coupled with Bluetooth GPS to take full advantage of the Outdoor Navigator.
