Bianchi offers Cobra Gear and AccuMold Elite

Company:

March 01, 2001

Bianchi’s new Cobra Tactical Gear combines the convenience of modular construction with the innovation of the Cobra Tactical Holster. Based on their rugged military “Quick-Lock” fastener used on the Bianchi Military Holster, Cobra Gear consists of a series of accessory pouches and holsters that can be mounted on a Modular Accessory Panel, allowing an officer to custom-build their gear. The Tactical Holster has the unique feature of being adjustable to fit a wide range of pistol-mounted tactical lights. We tried it and it worked great.

Newest from Bianchi is AccuMold Elite, their synthetic uniformed duty gear. It fooled us when we first saw it and we genuinely thought it was leather. It has the sharp appearance of real leather without the weight, maintenance or cost normally associated with premium leather duty gear. Using the AccuMold technology, Elite has the form-fitted look that AccuMold brought into the marketplace. Elite is highly-abrasion resistant, easily cleaned with soap and water and can be disinfected if necessary.

This innovative technology is based on DuraSkin (tm) (a high quality leather grain matrix nylon). The result looks as good as leather and should make that transition from leather to synthetic an easier proposition for some departments.
