Jersey City Police Hold Hospital Vigil for Critically Wounded Officers

Police this morning continued to hold vigil at a hospital for two officers critically wounded in a gun battle Thursday. Officer Marc Dinardo was shot in the left side of the face and Officer Michael Camacho was shot in the neck. Thursday's shootout left six other officers injured and two armed robbery suspects dead.

One of the two Somali men indicted for providing support to those terrorists pleaded guilty months ago and has been cooperating with the FBI, according to those same documents.

Border Agents Reporting Record Drug Seizures

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is reporting record drug seizures for the first three quarters of fiscal year 2009, which ended June 30. The agency seized 3.3 million pounds of drugs.
