Denver Cops Fired Over Beating Get Jobs Back

After going through a civil appeal process, Officers Devin Sparks and Randy Murr have been reinstated by the Denver Civil Service Commission. The city's manager of safety, Ashley Kilroy, said she disagreed with the decision, and added that she stood by the decision to terminate the officers.

A Davidson County (N.C.) Sheriff's deputy attempting to save a man drowning in a lake was punched by the man's brother. While patrolling the High Rock Lake area of Lexington, deputy Tim Smith was notified by a family member that a 21-year-old man had gone underwater.

Two LAPD Officers Injured In Glass Bottle Attack

A man was taken into custody shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday when a bottle struck the cruiser's window at Oxnard Street and Vineland Avenue. One officer was treated for cuts to the face and neck. The other sustained a cut to the cornea.

N.M. Police Fire Officer who Had Sex on Car Hood

The New Mexico State Police have fired an officer caught having sex with a woman on the hood of a Honda at a remote ranch in Santa Fe County. He has 30 days to appeal the decision.
