6 Baltimore Officers to be Tried Separately in Freddie Gray Case

A circuit judge ruled Wednesday that the case against six Baltimore police officers charged in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray will go forward in separate trials, with Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby remaining at the helm of the prosecution.

When officers made eye contact with the individuals, deputies said they began to act suspiciously. As the officers drove around the block to approach the subjects through the open lot, they saw two of the males walking away from them on James Drive. The subjects turned into an alley between James Drive and Charleston, and the officers lost sight of them.

Vigilant Solutions announced today that the Whitehall (Ohio) Police Department used its LEARN investigative software and commercial license plate reader (LPR) data to locate a vehicle associated with a triple homicide on August 19th, resulting in the arrest of a suspect on August 25th by the NYPD.

Local officials say a female police officer was assaulted after a traffic stop off Route 309 while on duty Wednesday evening on Blue Mountain. State police joined West Penn Township officers, searching for suspects.
