Asset Forfeiture Buys 2,000 Trauma Kits for Colorado Officers

In the coming months, 2,000 police officers around the state of Colorado will receive individual first-aid kits (IFAK), Colorado Attorney General Cynthia Coffman announced Thursday.

Two Des Moines Police officers were killed in the line of duty early Saturday morning while transporting a prisoner when their vehicle was struck head-on by a wrong-way driver. The prisoner and the driver of the second vehicle involved were also killed.
