Charlotte Officer Will Not be Disciplined Over Shooting that Sparked Rioting

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has determined that an officer followed proper procedures when he fatally shot Keith Lamont Scott last fall and will not be disciplined.

Seattle Officer Wounded in Thursday Robbery Shooting Remains Hospitalized

The two officers were among four injured Thursday while responding to an armed robbery. The other officers, both males, have not been identified. One of those officers suffered a minor bullet wound to the hand and the other was hit over the head with a bottle, police said.
