Maryland Police Fatally Shoot Armed Man Struggling with Officer

November 06, 2018  |

Officers with the Anne Arundel County (MD) Police Department were trying to enforce Maryland's new 'red flag law'—under which family, police, and mental health professionals can all ask for the protective orders to remove weapons from a household—when they encountered the subject of the order holding a gun.

The man had put his gun down but when faced with the reason for the police visit, grabbed the gun. A struggle ensued, and the gun in the subject's hand went off. Officers opened fire, killing the man identified as Gary Willis, according to CBS News.

No police officers were injured in the incident.

Why didn't he just leave the gun alone and take the matter up in court unless he planned not being taken alive.

......Because he has been watching too much media coverage of the bullcrap( pc, race baiting, anti police, etc) they are shoving down americas throat. He got what he deserved. No need for wasting anymore time thinking about it.
