California Officers Shoot Suspect Who Was Pelting Passing Cars with Rocks

September 12, 2018  |

According to KABC-TV, officers from the Montclair (CA) Police Department were called to respond to reports that a man was throwing rocks at passing cars.

Officers arrived at the scene and the man threw at least one rock at their patrol vehicle.

The officers opened fire, striking the suspect, who was later transported to a hospital for treatment, officials said.

The man—who was suspected of assaulting an individual in their home earlier in the day—has not yet been identified. His condition was not immediately known.

That individual throwing rocks at vehicles should be charged with attempted murder since when driving and an object strikes your windshield or car, it has the potential for the driver to loose control.

Shouldn't bring a rock to a gun fight...

I completely agree with Anthony...but then again, this is Klownifornia, so they'll more likely end up charging the officers.
