Spokane, WA, police were working on a tip from the agency's Domestic Violence Unit that a known offender may try to re-enter the victim's home when they saw a suspect run inside.

The agency posted a screen grab of the resulting search to Facebook, where it has generated some humorous comments.

"The adult version of hide and seek never turns out well for anyone. What is depicted in this body camera footage frame is the lengths that some suspects will go through to avoid police," Spokane PD said in the Facebook post.

The post continued, "Yes that is an apartment sized stackable washer and dryer combo," the post said. "Fortunately the suspect was discovered by K9 'Murphy' without anyone getting hurt. Great example of units working together."

Comments included, "He's all washed up" and "There will probably be a laundry list of charges" and "Wonder if he was charged with money laundering" and "Did he come clean?"
