White House Shines Blue to Honor Fallen Law Enforcement Officers

The White House was lit with blue lights Tuesday night, honoring law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

The event commemorated National Peace Officers Memorial Day as well as the official start of National Police Week, reports WABI.

Every year, thousands of officers and departments from across the country as well as law enforcement supporters converge on Washington, DC to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

GREAT! Thanks! I recall the Obama white house in "rainbow colors" but refused to do so in BLUE for cops. Thanks President Trump for all the support you show LEOs and first responders.
