Armed Philadelphia Antifa Group Formed to Target Police

August 25, 2017  |

An armed Antifa group is launching a new cell in Philadelphia that is targeting law enforcement.

The group currently hosts anti-police workshops called “Our Enemies in Blue.” The group draws inspiration from convicted murderers and calls for violence against the police, theft of goods, and armed insurrection.

Antifa websites like It’s Going Down, Sub.Media and Insurrection News have been promoting the group, which calls itself the Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement (RAM).

Taking pride in the “legacy” of “Philadelphia’s rich revolutionary tradition,” RAM cites in a press release Mumia Abu Jamal, the Black Panther activist who shot and killed Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981. It also cites Russell Shoats, who shot a police officer in the back five times in 1970.

Despite active calls for violence against law enforcement and armed revolution against the government, the mainstream media has been surprisingly lenient in its coverage of Antifa, depicting them as righteous crusaders against fascism, the Daily Caller reports.

The only main stream news organization to show AntiFa for what it is has been ABC News. Last week they did an hour long 20/20 episode showing them for the nuts that they are. People really need to see that because it is from a main stream news source. Also, if you search on the internet you will find liberal web sites several months ago telling fellow liberals to beware of AntiFa and they should not be embraced. I guess they did not listen. Most of the news and liberals are either totally ignoring AntiFa like they don't even exist, saying they aren't that bad, or totally defending them. This is disgusting.

It is so obvious that the media and liberals are trying to manipulate and fool the public. And it looks like last weekend in Boston it worked because they got thousands of people to protest and Indian immigrant running for the Senate thinking he is a "white supremacist." Sheep and idiots is what those people were. Good job Boston. You trampled the Bill of Rights that day.

Getting very close to committing crimes facilitating and conspiring to commit police murder. Oh sorry this is "protected speech, not "hate speech" that would be anything said against these folks. My commons sense mistake.

It is a disturbing fine line between free speech and hate speech. Even when hate speech is identified , there are not enough police resources to follow up. We are dealing with some public antifa accusations against our son which are protected as free speech. This has resulted in death threats against our family. Unless we hire a lawyer or private investigator, they get away with it because the cowards hide behind masks while inciting radical beliefs which counter social norms. Without a clearly identified individual that can be attached to a criminal activity, there is no help available. A class action suit and an ambitious lawyer???
