VIDEO: FL Agriculture Officer Killed in Crash

A Florida Agriculture officer died after his car caught fire in an on-duty crash Tuesday morning, reports WCTV.

The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the victim as 25-year-old Officer Joshua Montaad of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have not released an official cause for the crash. But Montaad's patrol car left the roadway and struck a tree during a period of heavy rain, reports ODMP.org.
