U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) has posted a video on his Facebook page defending the right of Border Patrol agents to respond with deadly force against people throwing rocks at them.

In the video, Higgins shows the size of rock commonly used to attack the agents and the less-lethal response they are permitted by Border Patrol policy.

Higgins, a former St. Landry’s Parish sheriff’s captain, rose to fame in a series of popular videos for Crime Stoppers. He resigned from the sheriff's office in February 2016 and now represents Louisiana’s 3rd District.
