A documentary film shown at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX, that disputes the evidence Michael Brown committed strong arm robbery in a convenience store before he was shot and killed by Officer Darren Wilson in 2014 sparked anti-police violence in Ferguson, MO, Sunday.
Officials say as many as 100 people gathered outside the Ferguson Market, forcing it to close.
During the unrest, someone attempted to burn a patrol car; an officer's nose was broken, reportedly when he was punched in the face; and shots were fired with no injuries, according to some accounts.
One man was charged Monday with attempting to burn the St. Louis County Police car, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
During the protest, police say Henry L. Stokes stuffed a napkin in the gas tank opening of a St. Louis County police car and tried to ignite it with a cigarette lighter. Officers stopped him, chased him and arrested him, police say.
