NY State Troopers and employees of a towing company helped rescue more than 100 puppies after the box van that was carrying them crashed and overturned on an upstate New York highway, reports the Associated Press.

Troopers say a Missouri woman was driving the van carrying the puppies to be delivered to pet stores when she lost control of the vehicle Tuesday, causing it to hit a ditch and overturn. Five of the puppies sustained minor injuries, and two sustained serious injuries. There were no fatalities.

The local SPCA’s website says it’s caring for “a large number of puppies” from the accident. The puppies are expected to be returned to their out-of-state owner.
