AZ Officer Shot, in Critical Condition; Suspect at Large

Show Low, AZ, police confirm that a police officer was shot on Tuesday. That officer was reported to be in critical condition.

Show Low, AZ, police confirm that a police officer was shot on Tuesday. That officer was reported to be in critical condition, report KPHO and KTVK.

Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety say the shooting happened at a Show Low Arby's restaurant, and that suspect Daniel Erickson, 36, was seen leaving a Days Inn nearby.

Erickson was armed with a silver handgun, officers said. Police advised the public not to approach him, and that he was believed to be armed and dangerous.

Show Low is in Navajo County in east-central Arizona.
