VIDEO: Trace Adkins, Venue to Donate $10,000 to Slain TN Officer's Family

Country superstar Trace Adkins and Knoxville, TN, concert venue The Back Porch on the Creek are donating $10,000 to the family of Officer Kenny Moats, the Maryville, TN, police officer killed last week in the line of duty, reports WATE.

Adkins is scheduled to perform Friday night at the venue at the I-40 Lovell Road exit behind Knoxville Harley-Davidson. Back Porch on the Creek was already donating $1 of each ticket sold to the local Fraternal Order of Police.

According to Back Porch on the Creek's Facebook page, Concert promoters also say any law enforcement officer who shows his or her badge at the gate can get free admission to the concert. General admission tickets have been reduced from $35 to $25 and are available at Knoxville Harley-Davidson.

Donations will also be accepted for the Moats family.
