IACP Issues Statement on Orlando Terror Attack

June 13, 2016  |

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) has issued a statement on the Orlando terror attack.

The thoughts and prayers of the IACP are with the victims, families, friends and all those affected by this tragic event. We also applaud the brave actions of law enforcement amidst a significant, active threat.

As the Orlando Police Department, along with their local, state and federal counterparts continue their investigations, they have the full support of the IACP and their colleagues around the globe.

Sadly, these events once again demonstrate the troubling reality that no community and no nation is immune from the threat of violence. Meeting this challenge, and ensuring that all communities are protected from harm, is a commitment shared by law enforcement agencies and officers throughout the world.

That was a somewhat pansy type statement. Why did they waste the media's time with this?
