VIDEO: New Orleans Officer Gravely Injured in I-10 Crash

A New Orleans Police Department officer was working an auto accident on I-10 Saturday morning when she was struck by a vehicle reportedly driven by a motorist under the influence of alcohol and gravely injured, according to New Orleans Police Department Superintendent Michael Harrison.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on eastbound I-10 near the Esplanade Avenue exit.

Officer Natasha Hunter, 31, a 12-year veteran of the force, is in a "non-responsive" state, according to Harrison, who told WWLTV she suffered a traumatic brain injury.

We pray for your recovery. Both this young officer and the Memphis officer struck down the same day, these Black lives matter yet do you hear anyone from BLM or even the major media say anything? No you do not since Blue lives do not matter to them,

Yeah, I was wondering were the BLM folks all disappeared to. Should we use their playbook and leave no tragedy unused? She would be a great poster child if we could get public service announcements out about blue lives....
