Minneapolis Police Union President Calls Black Lives Matter a "Terrorist Organization"

The president of the Minneapolis Police union says the officers involved in the fatal shooting of Jamar Clark last November are vindicated after a federal investigation cleared them of any wrongdoing.

Lt. Bob Kroll spoke at a press conference Wednesday afternoon, where he blasted Mayor Betsy Hodges and Minneapolis City Council members Alondra Cano, Cam Gordon and Lisa Bender for creating what he called a “dangerous and unproductive atmosphere.”

Kroll’s harshest words were pointed at Black Lives Matter, which he described as a “terrorist organization,” WCCO TV reports.

“I don’t see Black Lives Matter as a voice for the black community in Minneapolis,” he said. “The disruption, the, you know, they firebombed the precinct. There were shootings outside the precinct, hundreds of thousands of dollars [of damage] to the precinct and squad cars.”

Kroll said Officers Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze, and their families, were all victims of the “obtrusive” investigation — all for “going to a 911 call and doing their job.”

After a Texas cop was ambushed and killed the BLM crowd in MN shouted "what do we want...more dead cops".

Tom Ret @ 6/4/2016 8:59 AM

Refreshing to hear a law enforcement official call it for what it is. Too bad we have a president who has taken the side of this terrorist organization while
at the same time releasing more criminals from prison who likely will soon prey
on the public again making the job that much harder for the cops. It is pretty clear where the president's sympathies are. The chaos that is erupting in many cities will likely get worse under Obama and his DOJ.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

Thanks Lt. Kroll, for being man enough to tell it like it is.

Capt. Crunch @ 6/4/2016 11:33 AM

Glad to see someone finally say the truth about BLM . Thank you Lt. Kroll.

Kermit Lugo @ 6/4/2016 12:49 PM

Lt Kroll. Thank you sir for calling the BLM movement for what they are. As a retired Police Officer and a minority my respect to you sir. Political correctness has gone too far. We should call them as we see them and to hell with all these pansy POS.

Once again anon cop liberal troll (Sheriff LA Rainey) is here talking mindless dribble that makes zero sense. Talks about the "thousands and Thousands" of deaths caused by Law Enforcement. They may be thousands shot by police but they "caused" their own demise by being thugs, criminals and just plain high or stupid and not following a lawful order by police. You are fool and or an idiot. Nobody here believes that you have been, are now or even could ever be a LEO.

mike @ 6/4/2016 6:49 PM

"Sheriff L.A. Rainey" you are a coward and an ill-informed moron. I don't know why you call yourself a sheriff; I suppose you wish you had the balls and courage to become a cop but , instead, you are a chicken-shit cop hater who would crap in his pants if anyone were to threaten to kick your sorry butt.

db in AZ @ 6/4/2016 8:48 PM

I was under the impression that comments such as from " sheriff L.A. rainey " will not be posted. Stay in loser los angeles Kalifornia (rainer) and keep your fingers off the keyboard and stickem in your mouth. Maybe when the wall along Mexico is built, we should head it north between the Arizona/Kalifornia border so as to keep anymore of you (rainer) from infecting my state. P.S. to LA LA rainer; the b.l.m. will meet it's "match" in AZ and they will HELL.

Flcop @ 6/4/2016 10:02 PM

Rainey, I'll challenge your actual points. You haven't made any points; you have yet to point out one fact, everything you have pointed out is pure opinion. Please post the actual number of unarmed people who "are greased by le"; and exactly what is the number of in custody deaths? As far as Taser deaths, I would love to see factual information on that one, so please once you get your facts together, share them with the actual law enforcement community.

AZBIGDOG @ 6/5/2016 7:47 AM

Rainey was a worthless writer for the la times. Apparently a liberal who essentially wrote puff pieces. Guess he got fired for not having anything worthwhile to say. Just like he is doing on this board. Probably a backer of bowel lives movements and a cop hater. Too bad he is allowed to post.
