VIDEO: 2 Officers Injured During Trump Rally in Chicago

Chicago police say two officers sustained injuries when supporters of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump clashed with protesters after he abruptly canceled a campaign rally, reports the Associated Press.

Police say the two officers were taken to a hospital for treatment and released. No other details about their injuries were available. Police say no other injuries were reported at the event Friday night.

The Chicago Police Department said in a news release sent Saturday night that the three men from Chicago and a 45-year-old woman from Michigan were arrested and charged for participating in a disturbance at the protest. Two of the men face felony charges of aggravated battery of a peace officer. All face misdemeanor charges of resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
