VIDEO: Denver Fallen Officer Memorial Vadalized Over Holiday Weekend

Denver's memorial to fallen Denver Police officers was vandalized with red paint sometime Sunday night or early Monday morning almost a year since the same kind of act in 2015.

Since the 2015 vandalism, a number of security measures have been put in place including permanent HALO cameras that monitor the area. There’s also a trespassing law now in effect for the overnight hours.

Police told CBS Denver they have video of the suspect who they think did vandalism. The suspect could face a trespassing charge at the very least.

The monument was cleaned by local firefighters.

Sounds like another batch of dirtbag cowards with nothing else to do. Thank you to the local firefighters for the effort. Hope they catch the poor excuse for human beings!

Thanks my firefighter friends for cleaning up the mess.
