Sheriffs Call on LEOs and Supporters to Wear and Display Blue on Friday

February 11, 2016  |

The National Sheriffs' Association encourages all law enforcement professionals, first responders, supporters, and citizens to wear and display blue this Friday, Feb. 12, and join in a moment of silence to honor and remember the sacrifice of our fallen deputies and officers from Colorado, Maryland, North Dakota, Georgia, and California at 1PM EDT.

The senseless killing of law enforcement officers just this week reminds us that the men and women in law enforcement take a solemn oath that includes putting their lives on the line every day to protect our citizens.
