VIDEO: Nebraska Stray Trained as Drug-Detecting K-9

Roscoe once roamed Omaha's alleys as a stray, but soon he'll help take drugs off the streets. Roscoe has almost completed training and certification to partner with Ellis County Oklahoma Deputy TJ Tyler.

"Gave him more than a future, it gave him a home and a job," Deputy Tyler told WOWT TV.

Months ago Roscoe sniffed for scraps as a stray dog; he ended up at the Nebraska Humane Society where trainer Dawn Thrapp scouts for potential search and rescue or drug detecting K9s.
