VIDEO: NYPD Union Releases Powerful Holiday Message from the "Good Guys"

The NYPD Sergeants Benevolents Association union has released a powerful holiday video challenging the messages of anti-police activists and celebrating the courage and sacrifice of law enforcement officers.

After showing numerous scenes of anti-police protests and riots, the video cuts to an image of Detective Jorge Lozano of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Office, one of the first responders to the Islamist terror attack in San Bernardino earlier this month.

“All lives really do matter. Don’t believe us?” the narrator asks before the screen shows Lozano’s words.

“I said to them just to kinda calm down and relax, that we were going to do everything we can to get them out of that building safely. It’s nothing short of what any other person in law enforcement would do. I don’t feel like a hero whatsoever. Any one of the 300 people that were there would have said the same thing. That’s our job to put ourselves in the line of danger to protect our community,” the California detective said.

The words “Det. Lozano never considered the race of the people he rescued!” then appear on the screen.
