San Bernardino Shooters Planned Bigger Attack, Investigators Believe

December 11, 2015  |

An examination of digital equipment recovered from the home of the couple who killed 14 people in San Bernardino last week has led FBI investigators to believe the shooters were planning an even larger assault, according to federal government sources.

Investigators on Thursday continued to search for digital footprints left by Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, scouring a downtown San Bernardino lake for electronic items, including a hard drive that the couple was hoping to destroy, sources told the Los Angeles Times.

FBI agents will probably spend days searching Seccombe Lake and canvassing the neighborhood for clues after receiving a tip that the couple may have visited the area on the day of the attack, according to David Bowdich, assistant special agent in charge of the FBI's Los Angeles field office.

Farook and Malik were in the final planning stages of an assault on a location or building that housed a lot more people than the Inland Regional Center, possibly a nearby school or college, federal sources familiar with the widening investigation said.

Seems this was obvious. They planned a larger operation based upon the number of pipe bombs that FBI found at the residence. The probable scenario is that the shooting at the center was a last minute attack added to the plan. Apparently he did not like some of his fellow workers and they did that and were probably enrollee to the main target when police caught up with them. Thank God.

The good thing is that God and good police work stopped them before they could do anymore damage or kill anyone else. I guess Allah was no good to them as he is to law abiding Muslims.

My thoughts exactly, kevCopAz.

Receiving information on the Perps is much appreciated. Describing details as to "how" gives the enemy information for him to institute avoidance techniques. On Target does not do this, but too many of the Media take great pleasure in announcing our weaknesses, inadequacies and trouble spots thereby affording the enemy excellent feedback. We need to enlist Mark Zuckerberg to allow us to get into Facebook through the back door in order to have access foiling the enlisting that ISIS is successfully doing. It would also be wonderful if ALL of the Somali ISIS sympathizers in Minneapolis could be dispatched, ousted and never allowed to return. America needs to set an example that has "teeth."

Mark Zuckerberg has paid Illegal Alien Hackers to "Hack Opponents of Illegal Immigration" computers. He is an Globalist Elite scum! Farcebook could "Shoot Down" Radical Muslim sites that use his Social Network Site(s) but he doesn't care about American lives! He's just like a Politician that sells the USA out! The Shooter used a "Straw Man" to purchase the Guns, that's Illegal. But Anti-Gunners don't care! An Evil person can kill without Firearms. At the same time, if any Evil person has Guns, a Good person needs to be a Sheepdog and project the Herd! I've grown to respect LEOs more, after Officer Wilson got accused, along with Zimmerman. The USA needs more Sheepdogs (Good People) to project he Elderly, Disabled and Innocent. Thanks LEOs. Please don't follow the MSM, and surrender sovereignty of the USA to the Police State!
