Florida Officer Dies After Being Found Unresponsive in Patrol Car

The North Port Police Department is mourning the loss of a 14-year veteran officer.

The department announced late Saturday that Patrolman First Class Dennis Gonthier, 57, was found unresponsive in his patrol car as he prepared to start his shift.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The department said it appears Gonthier died of natural causes, NBC2 reports.

So very sad, keep a check of your health guys and girls, if you don't it will let you down quicker than your car or firearm.
