Rev. Al Sharpton announced this morning that he will not give the eulogy for slain NYPD Officer Randolph Holder at his funeral, saying that “union leaders” and other critics are using his participation as a “sideshow” that isn’t fair to the grieving family.

In a letter to Holder’s father obtained by the New York Daily News, Sharpton said his plan was to bring unity to the police reform movement and cops, but that the critics won’t let him.

“It is clear though after reading several articles that some union leaders and some others want to turn your and your pastor’s noble efforts into some kind of confrontation or sideshow and not keep focused on the brutal, senseless murder of your son,” he wrote.

“I refuse, despite my strong feelings on police issues, to be part of anything that would marginalize and take away from the focus of this city and nation mourning your son tomorrow.”

Officer Randolph Holder, your absence is a hole in all of our heart. Thank you for your Service. Rest In Peace.....................

Hey Al. Newsflash. This has nothing to do with those bad cops and unions types that you make enormous profits from by constantly demonizing. The victims fiancé said that the victim didn't like you and wouldn't want you there. This is all about honoring the wishes of the victim. It's not about you and its not about your efforts at racial division and demonization.

Once again there goes al sharpton sticking his nose into business that has nothing to do with his sleazy ass. Go back to your B.L.M. you p.o.s. You are not welcome you asshole.

Det. 1st Grade Randolph Holder, Rest In Peace may God Bless you and watch over your family and all law enforcement worldwide. Det. 1st grade Holder had the sense and saw what Sharpton is all about. It is respecting Det. Holder's and his girlfriends wishes by not being at the funeral. Until Sharpton actually admits that he has been wrong and quits waging a war on police and other s whom he extorts money from under false pretenses. The feds need to go after him, prosecute him and throw away the key.

Everything sharpton does is a sideshow. It would have been so disrespectful to the deceased officer, his family, and law enforcement for sharpton to breath the same air. Sharpton is a racist joke. He needs to stay way far away from law enforcement officers. God bless the officers family. Sharp ton, you need to pay your taxes.
