Anti-Police Activists Rally in Times Square Just 2 Days After NYPD Officer Murdered

Just two days after a career criminal allegedly gunned down NYPD officer Randolph Holder in East Harlem, and with his fellow officers still mourning, anti-police activists took to Times Square on Thursday to protest "police terror and murder."

Holder’s murder on Tuesday night made him the fourth NYPD officer to die in the line of duty in the last year, which has also seen anti-police groups call for killing police. But the demonstrators who carried signs at 47th street and Broadway decrying "victims of police murder" seemed oblivious to the trauma felt throughout the city after Holder, an African-American and second-generation police officer, was killed trying to protect New Yorkers.

"People have had enough of the anti-cop protest, and it's time these people go get a job and find a different agenda," Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins told

Given the prevalence of "Black Lives Matter" signs at the event, including on one large, yellow cloth held by members of the so-called Granny Peace Brigade, a protester was asked if the life of Holder, who was black, also mattered.

"I would hope that his family realizes that his life is included in that ‘Black Lives Matter’ slogan," said protester Qiara Butler.

The three-day "National March to STOP Police Terror" on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is set to have events in numerous city spots, among them Washington Square Park and Bryant Park in Manhattan and a march to Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn later Thursday. The event was "initiated" by activists Dr. Cornel West and Carl Dix, a self-described revolutionary. Several high-profile "selected endorsers" for the event include former Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers, actors Ed Asner and Mark Ruffalo, and singer Harry Belafonte.

Please take this the way I am saying it... If these folks don't shut up, have some respect and common sense when stating their side of an issue MORE folks will care LESS if police shoot and kill more of them. They may have some complaints on how police react to their "community" but in no way are "blacks being murdered every day", thats ridiculous and a lie that has no stats to show anything close to that. Further, criminals like Brown, proven to be a robber and assaulting an officer when he is shot....what kind of fool uses him as an example of a "innocent" man "gunned downed and murdered" by police. What would they have us do, let the criminals shoot us? Even the president is a fool on this issue (and more) example, he supports BLM movement and sticks his nose in any BLACK shooting but never when a Cop is shot. He even says that Israel should not 'over react" and shoot Palestinians who stab and kill children and old ladies by shooting the suspect! What a fool. This is what we face.

Do any of these black lives matter people work?

These assholes don't know shit, and they are completely clueless. M.B. was a p.o.s. who needed to be put down PERIOD. He robbed someone and then when stopped tried to take the officer's gun and was shot and killed. DESERVEDLY SO.... Black on black crime is what is killing their own race, gangs, and drugs are the biggest cause. So go picket somewhere else or get a job. Don't you all have jobs?

You notice whenever BLM has a protest, they always shown MB as the little 12 year old boy, not the 18 year old thug with the gun and cash. It the words of Andy Rooney "Why is that?" They also show the other thugs with school pictures, hanging with their "Baby Momma", but don't use the banger photos with the guns, bags of cocaine, and a hand full of "Benjamins" (even though they haven't worked a day in their life). "Why is that?
