Cop Block Blogger Sentenced to Prison for Threats Against Police

October 12, 2015  |

A former Texoma man has been sentenced to Federal prison in Las Vegas after making death threats to FBI agents and officers in Carter County, OK, and Colorado Springs, CO, on his anti-police Facebook page known as "Cop Block," reports KTEN.

Dustin McCaskill, 33, was sentenced to 12 months in prison Thursday with three years of supervised release which will include restricted computer access, regular drug tests, and mental health evaluations.

He was arrested in Las Vegas by the FBI in January and pleaded guilty to "interstate communications with intent to extort" in June, KTEN reports.
