VIDEO: Phoenix Officer Shot During Traffic Stop, Suspects Arrested

A Phoenix police officer is in serious condition after he was shot multiple times on Wednesday during a traffic stop around 2:45 a.m., reports ABC 15.

Phoenix police said it is unclear if the incident was an ambush. Phoenix police Sgt. Jonathan Howard said the officer was shot multiple times but is expected to survive thanks to his vest. The officer is reportedly out of surgery and is expected to survive, police said.

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton said both suspects were arrested around 1:30 p.m. after an extensive search.

Damn, very little coverage on this right here in the Valley. But I guess the weather is more important then a LEO being gunned down. Sure do dislike the media at large for they spin they put on every OIS, "unarmed teenager", etc. Maybe some day we'll have a real news station or better yet, a honest newspaper in Phoenix, but I'm not holding my breath.
