Washington State K-9 Stabbed to Death by Wanted Suspect

September 03, 2015  |

A Vancouver, Wash., police K-9 has died from injuries he suffered when he was stabbed by a wanted man on Tuesday.

A Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman said the suspect ran away and was tracked down hiding in bushes by K-9 officer Ike.

The dog bit the suspect, but the man stabbed the dog.

Ike was rushed to Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital, police said, but he did not survive his injuries.

The suspect, who has been identified as Jacky Chan Karuo, 25, was taken into custody after officers used a stun gun, KPTV reports.

Karuo was taken to Clark County Jail and booked on Assault IV DV, Harming a Police Dog and Criminal Impersonation I.

Really, Jacky Chan? What a punk too bad the K-9 didn't grab him by his testicles and boîte him.

As violent as these suspects are getting we are going to have to stop sending them in where they can't be seen. In this case they were no doubt dealing with a Physcho and probably on some kind of synthetic drug which seems to drive people out of their minds or at least if they have a mind. Rest in Peace Ike and condolences to your handler and the Vancouver Washington Police Dept.

I think he should get the death penalty. A police K9s life is worth much more than any scumbag criminal felons.
