VIDEO: Baltimore PD Cancels Officers' Leave

There will be no time off for Baltimore Police Department officers on Wednesday or next Thursday. Those are the dates for the pretrial motion hearings for the six officers charged in connection with Freddie Gray's death, reports ABC2.

"We have to be ready in the instance of protests or anything like that. People of course have the right to protest but at the same time we just want to be prepared and that's all we're doing," says TJ Smith with the Baltimore Police Department.

What do they need to be prepared for? I thought Baltimore's policy was to let the rioter do what they want!

OK @ 9/1/2015 5:56 PM

I thought they were peaceful protests and the police were the trouble makers. These morons can't even keep their rehearsed stories straight.

That's what the commander in chief wants to let them do is riot all they want to. If I were them I would contract the blue flu.

It doesn't take a genious to figure out how this is going to pan out. More Officer's lives? They are definately gonna riot, and fuck up their community.
Im just hoping that no officers lives are taken or childrens lives as well. C'mon obama, get out there and preach to these people and tell em that they shouldn't riot, and to protest peacefully, now's your chance you gutless p.o.s. same thing goes with sharpton, jackson, and that new attorney general. Get out there and let these assholes see you.

Now yall want us out there. For some reason I just don't feel well, and I think it's a 48 hr. or 72 hr. bug, and that police officers are the ones catching this virus. Well I really hope y'all get better.
