The Harris County (Texas) Sheriff's deputy never saw the man who walked up behind him and shot him in the head before unloading an entire 14-round clip into his body, a Harris County, Texas, prosecutor said Monday.

Deputy Darren Goforth was found in a pool of blood next to his patrol car, which he had been filling up with gas at the time of his death, District Attorney Devon Anderson told CNN.

Shannon J. Miles is charged with capital murder in Goforth's Friday slaying. He arrived at Harris County District Court in Houston wearing the yellow jumpsuit the county assigns to high-security inmates, his wrists and ankles shackled to his waist. Miles did not speak much during the hearing, but at one point, Judge Denise Collins admonished Miles to address her as "ma'am."

Surveillance video of the shooting shows Miles wearing a white T-shirt, red shorts and tennis shoes as he walks up behind Goforth, Anderson said.

This could be used as proof that Black Lives Matter for Miles. Since Deputy Goforth could not return fire since Miles made certain of that by shooting the Deputy from behind, giving him no chance whatsoever. The "Black Lives Matter Nit-Wits should be allowed to see examples like this.

At least Texas has the guts to put this killer to death. Time for other States to follow suit. You, Mr. Miles, will be meeting Satan in Hell!

If you're going to write, then make complete sense of what is read. Not a clip, magazine 14 rounds and one in the chamber.A officer died wake up news room. Without absolute you would if in court would or may cause reasonable doubt!

Here on the west coast, there is hardly a word of this incident. One reporter didn't mention anything about the arrestee, and wondered what possibly could be the motive. The motive is racial hate, fostered by the Reverend Racebaiter and his crony, and all the lying "hands up don't shoot" folks. But no, our Politically Correct media won't even touch the subject. Thanks for pushing the racial divide even further apart. The killing of innocent LEO's is off to a flying start.

I'm in so cal and Fox News has been covering it a lot. They call out reverend race baiter and these black life's matter jokers. I don't bother with the la news.
It's horrible what's been going on in our county. Stay save out there LEOs.

The sad part is he will get off. He is claiming to be mentally incompetent. So he will go to a hospital for about a year and be "cured" and get out and do it again.

It sux cuz things have gone so far to the left that no one cares anymore about law enforcement. If we die on duty it's almost like oh well...and they expect that it comes with the territory. But the left especially the media just want stories where these so-called victims have been victimized by the police. It's just another case of things to come. Some people have got it right. We are under attack, and we do need to watch each other's back as well as our own.

RIP Brother.

the mental incompetency part was set up by Sharpton so that would be the first thing on the liberal medias tongue after the bond hearing. This piece of trash is the lowest form of cowardice on the planet and he knows exactly what is going on and what will probably happen. Mental Hospital for a while and then freedom again.

I say it is time to go to 2 man cars as routine. 1 man cars may be more efficient but with frequent assaults on cops these days, their safety should trump response times and efficiency. The police need to protect their own especially in light of how this administration and a lot of the public view the police.
