July 20, 2015  |

Two men are dead after the car they were in crashed into a pole Sunday while fleeing police on 19 Mile Road in Troy, Mich.

A 19-year-old Sterling Heights man was driving a black 2000 Ford Mustang convertible at a high speed while fleeing from Troy police when he hit a utility pole. He and his 20-year-old passenger from Troy are both dead, reports.

Troy police said officers were terminating their pursuit at Troy's border when the vehicle crashed.

These perps chose to run from the police and in doing so ran into a pole. At least it wasn't innocent victims that were hit. They chose their destiny the minute they chose to run.

Now you watch, the families of the perps are going to sue the Police saying they caused the poor innocent boys to hit the pole. It is my feeling that when these vehicle pursuits happen the criminal has already made up their mind or minds that they are going to cause an accident to get the misinformed public and the hungry news media to complain.

The two idiots just have no respect which their parents did not teach them. You pull over when the lights come on. You take the consequences of your actions when you screw up. That is not taught to a lot of young people today no matter what color they are. Trust me I have had my share of all adult and juveniles tell me they did not have to do what I asked them to do then told them to do and the force continuum was followed to the letter.
