VIDEO: Texas Officer Does Nae Nae Dance with Some Kids

A video clip showing an Ennis, Texas, police officer doing a dance with neighborhood children, known as the "Nae Nae," has become an online sensation.

Sgt. Alan Eddins of the Ennis Police Department said on July 4, he was driving around the neighborhood looking for a warrant subject when he drove by a home with children dancing in the yard, the KHOU TV.

Eddins said after he discovered the wanted person wasn't home, he decided to circle back to where the children were.

"I just stopped to chat with them and see what's going on," Eddins said in an interview with WFAA8. "They invited me to come out and do that (dance) and I reluctantly agreed."

Good sport Sgt.Eddins. you showed the community that you have a sense of humor which is more than I can say for some of our politicians.

Thanks Sgt. Eddins. Yes, there has been too much negative publicity regarding the police lately. Cudos to that TV station and to you for showing the other side of police officers. It started my day with a smile.
