New York Prison Escapee Matt Killed, Police Pursuing Cop Killer Sweat

June 26, 2015  |

Richard Matt, one of two escaped murderers from an upstate New York prison, has been shot and killed by police. Officers involved in a nearly three-week manhunt are pursuing fugitive cop killer David Sweat, a law enforcement source briefed on the investigation told CNN this afternoon.

He reportedly was killed in a remote area of Franklin County, N.Y. not far from two hunting cabins where he and fellow escapee David Sweat had taken refuge, according to Fox News.

Great! One down one to go. I hope Sweat gets to die too, revenge for his LEO victim!. In the long run if both die it will save tax payers $$$$. I hope all of you who do not support the death penalty now realize if we don't execute them, they CAN harm people again both in prison and by escaping and killing. I would stop supporting the death penalty when you can GUARANTEE a murderer will NEVER see the light of day and can NEVER escape (impossible). So until then, kill them all. I pray no innocent person is killed by the outstanding convict, but if someone is killed or even harmed then blood is on the hands of ALL those who are against capital punishment. Im sure they will not feel the same way, but thats is the truth.
