Protesters Call for Firing of Texas Officer Suspended for Pool Party Incident

June 09, 2015  |

Protesters gathered in McKinney, Texas, on Monday night, three days after a white police officer responding to reports of a disturbance at a pool party was seen acting aggressively toward black teenagers, throwing a bikini-clad girl to the ground and pulling his gun on two others.

The officer, was placed on administrative leave as a video of the incident sparked outrage on social media.

Carrying signs that read "Black Lives Matter" and chanting "All lives matter," demonstrators called for the officer to be fired, Yahoo News reports.

Cant they EVER wait until there is an investigation??? What a bunch of cry baby lynch mob idiots. If he did what they accuse him of and had no legitimate reason, it will show in the investigation and then the PD can deal with it. I wonder why the autorites never prosecute all the folks that they should in incidents like this. The we can see who really are the cause of the incident. Instead they drop charges making it look like the cop made illegal arrests, which is not true. When will the authorities learn to prosecute to the full extent and investigate the police officer to the full extent, thats the only fair way. The "lunch mob" wants the criminals set free without charges and the cop lynched. It should be all go free and the cop walks or they all get punished as the facts dictate. End of story.

Chief will bow to protesters.

This was not a "Black - White" thing. These kids were out of line and interfering with a lawful police investigation while failing to obey the lawful commands of a Peace Officer. I am getting sick and tired of these savages and their antisocial, rude, impolite, and spoiled rotten behavior.

Jon Retired LEO @ 6/11/2015 1:50 PM

I would bet you that many if not all of the protestors are of the same bunch that descended on Ferguson, Missouri in that mess.

Tone @ 6/18/2015 12:55 AM

Listen to the tone above..Cry baby lynch mob idiots? Criminals? The Sharpton Crowd? Not a black & white thing? Savages? Howabout any protesters can exercise their freedom of speech. You guys already judged these folks. Everyone is entitled to feel what they feel and voice their concerns, but to minimize the overall circumstances in front of all of us is shameful. All lives matter including us in LE. If an officer is wrong why is that hard to admit to? If the citizen is wrong we're quick to say they are! Accountability may not start with us, but it can end with us! History has proven that investigations take time. Perhaps this march wasn't about the initial investigation, but maybe a body of people tired of this repeat outcomes toward minority communities.
