Six Baltimore Police Officers Indicted in Death of Freddie Gray

May 21, 2015  |

Six Baltimore Police officers were indicted Thursday on various charges related to the arrest and death of Freddie Gray, reports the Baltimore Sun.

Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby announced the indictments at a late-afternoon news conference at her downtown office.

The indictments came nearly three weeks after Mosby announced criminal charges against the officers. Some charges were slightly different than what Mosby announced on May 1. The grand jury review is a procedural step to move the case forward to a higher court, from District Court to Baltimore City Circuit Court.

New charges included reckless endangerment, while charges of false imprisonment were removed by the grand jury.

All six officers have been free on bail.

Has anyone noticed, violent crime is through the roof in Baltimore since the
indictments. As one officer said, paraphrasing, you want that type of policing,
you got it. God help you.

I agree, more departments will be this way and why not? Why should you stick your neck out for a system that chops it off? Yes there is the "Oath", but I will worry about that when the Mayors, the Prosecutors the DOJ etc live up yo TGHIER oaths!. The people of Baltimore deserve the police that they "demand". Good for you, both elections (read Obama/Holder DOJ) and political decisions all have consequences. You want demand your rights to the extreme, then let the LEOs giver it to them and "jungle Justice" will now take effect. Good Luck with that!

The Baltimore Six are political prisoners under the Obama adminstration. Just like Ramos and Campeon under Bush II. Usually the Hard Left creates it's own false naritive. Poor inocent child, gentle giant etc. But the LEOs of the B6 are only indicted because they were belived to be 1. A Group of Whites B. Police Officers. People across the Nation and who love the rule of Law should unite and stand with signs saying "We Support The Baltimore Six Police Officers". While the Justice Sytem failed the LEOs, and the Media makes every LEO out to be a skin head neo-nazi. There is the rest of the country that stands behind them. God doesn't like inocent people and kangaroo courts, not to mention clear conflicts of intrest. My thoughts and prayers go to LEOs everywhere. Ignore Mainstreem Media, and Obama & Co. Because average Americans stand with you, and they know REAL injustice! Not pre-fab that the media/Gov. creates.
