Students and other people were throwing rocks and bricks at Baltimore officers in riot gear today after high schoolers were apparently asked via social media over the weekend to rally at Mondawmin Mall, reports WJZ.

Officers were using mace and what appears to be tear gas to disperse crowds. Several arrests have already been made. There was looting and violence along W. North Avenue, including at a CVS store. Several police vehicles were also set on fire.

Police say seven officers were seriously injured in the melee, some with broken bones. At least one was unresponsive.

"Crowd?" Shouldn't it be Thugs? Call it what it is.

The mayor should resign or be fired. Her let the mob have space order even if that meant property damage was the green light for the scum bags. The burning and looting of the drug store is testament to these being scum bags
with demonstrating only a pretense. Once it gets dark, all hell will break loose unless a strong response is ordered. They need to restore order or anarchy will reign. The time for restraint is over!

Looks like the thugs and gangs have what they wanted an excuse to declare war on police and conquer the city.

Ok, lets call this what it was, a RIOT. Who asked them to riot over social media. I would lay odds that Sharpton has something to do with it. The Governor is going to have to send in help. Chemical repellant is going to do no good. Bean Bags hurt but they will not stop an enraged crown out of control.

Thugs, yes that is what the mayor also called them. Important point here. There has been very little that resembles a protest. Most everything here is just a mob in full riot mode. What do you expect from a coalition of street gangs, bent on hurting or killing police officers. In the end, if all of the gang-bangers in Baltimore were either in jail or the hospital, it would be a better and safer city. They are the ones who have created the problems with drugs and violence, not the police. A much more aggessive stance needs to be taken against gangs, not just in Baltimore, but all over our country. For those liberal folks who want to talk about the 1st amendment rights of the gang-bangers, remind me of that after they have robbed you or sold the drugs to your kids that they OD on.

Now the truth is coming out about the poor choir boy that died in MD. He was a violent felon, with numerous convictions. He has had numerous spinal operations and the Washington Post reported that a prisoner in the transport van said he was banging himself into the van to injure himself per a Baltimore police investigative report. The Joker to Batman: Riddle me this caped crusader: : Why is it when a black man goes to court he claims he is denied justice because he is black. Yet when a white cop is accused of injuring a black man, the social media has become, judge, jury and hangman and found him guilty before any facts are forthcoming?
