Fatal December Shooting of Unarmed Man by Phoenix Officer Ruled Justified

April 02, 2015  |

Maricopa County (Ariz.) Attorney Bill Montgomery said Wednesday there will be no criminal charges against a Phoenix police officer who fatally shot unarmed suspect Rumain Brisbon in December.

The seven-year police veteran with a seemingly unblemished record shot and killed Brisbon outside of an apartment near Greenway Road and Interstate 17 on Dec. 2, AZCentral reports.

Brisbon's death triggered a series of downtown demonstrations, with protesters denouncing the use of force as excessive and racially motivated. Brisbon is Black, the officer is White.

From this article all we know is that Brisbon was shot by an officer. No circumstances were given. Of course the protestors are busy, the Officer is white and the suspect is black so it really doesn't make any difference to them what happened, they want to protest. How about waiting for the completed investigation before passing judgment. I'm sorry, that would make sense.
