The officer was a solid officer who was scared for her life. I know her personally and she was my sro in high school. I've now become an officer and am truely saddened by the news today..

Sad. I do not have any personal knowledge about this Officer, only what the News "reports" (if that can be trusted) but it seems that the suspect was not attacking her, had nothing in his hands, she appears to have panicked., possibly. We should all back off allow the investigation to proceed and let the results speak for themselves. She should thank her lucky stars that she is a Female and that the suspect was not "of color" or she would already have been convicted by the press (and DOJ & Obama)
